About Shakwaneng Lodge
Born on April 5, 1987, Prince Tau embarked on his entrepreneurial journey at the age of 21 in 2008, establishing Busy Corner, a venture that laid the groundwork for his future successes. In 2012, he expanded his business endeavors with Tau Ya Tswako, a catering service, and officially registered Busy Corner in 2014. Fast forward to 2021, Prince Tau launched Shakwaneng Lodge, swiftly achieving ten rooms and positioning the establishment on the brink of a 3-star rating. Registered as a distinct entity in 2023, Shakwaneng Lodge has become a prominent player in the hospitality sector, offering amenities such as a swimming pool and entertainment facilities. Prince Tau's commitment to community development is evident through active participation in Anglo American Zimele projects, showcasing both growth and social responsibility. With ongoing construction to add more rooms and a modern conference center, the lodge offers attractively priced accommodation at R600 per night, inclusive of breakfast. Prince Tau's business prowess extends to a strategically located liquor restaurant near the lodge, enhancing guest convenience and diversifying his expanding business portfolio. In essence, Prince Tau's journey reflects resilience, dedication, and a strategic vision that has propelled his ventures to notable success.
